Hirai Base Terms of Service

These terms and conditions set forth the basic rules regarding accommodation at our facility, "Hirai Base" (hereinafter referred to as "the Facility").
By making a reservation and staying at our hotel, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions.

[Article 1 Scope of Application]
The accommodation contract and related agreements concluded between this facility and guests shall be governed by these terms and conditions.
If this facility enters into any special agreements that do not violate laws and customs, those agreements shall take precedence over these Terms and Conditions.

[Article 2 Formation of Accommodation Contract]
Those wishing to stay at the facility must apply for accommodation using the method specified by the facility (reservation website, email, or other means).
The accommodation contract is concluded when our facility accepts your reservation.
This facility may require you to pay all or part of the accommodation fee in advance when making a reservation.

[Article 3 Accommodation Fees and Payment Methods]
Accommodation rates are based on the price list specified by the booking website or the property.
Accommodation fees must be paid in advance via online payment, convenience store payment, or bank transfer.
If you require a receipt, please let us know when making your reservation or before your stay.

[Article 4: Check-in and Check-out]
Check-in is done using a PIN code that will be sent to you by the property after your reservation is complete (self-check-in system).
Please check out by the designated time and turn off the lights and air conditioning.
We do not offer luggage storage before check-in or after check-out.

[Article 5: Refusal of Accommodation/Departure]
This facility reserves the right to refuse accommodation or ask you to leave if any of the following apply:
- When there is a risk of engaging in acts that violate laws or public order and morals.
- When there is a risk of causing significant inconvenience to other guests.
- If there is false information in the application.
- When it is discovered that the number of guests exceeds the specified limit or that guests are staying without permission.
- When you violate any prohibited activities such as making noise, smoking, or holding parties.

[Article 6: Cancellation Policy]
Cancellation fees are subject to the terms and conditions of each booking plan displayed on the booking website.
In case of no-show without prior notice, 100% of the accommodation fee will be charged.

[Article 7: Precautions and Prohibited Actions Regarding Use]
Guests are requested to observe the following rules.
Smoking is prohibited inside the facility and on the premises.
Noise disturbing neighbors, loud noises late at night, music, parties, etc. are prohibited.
- Staying in a room with more people than the number of reservations is prohibited.
Do not damage or remove any of the room's fixtures, furniture, or appliances.
Pets are generally not allowed (except with special permission).
Bringing in open flames or hazardous materials is prohibited.

[Article 8 Compensation for damages]
If damage is caused to the facility or a third party due to the intentional act or negligence of a guest, the guest will be responsible for compensating for such damage.
This facility assumes no responsibility whatsoever for theft, loss, or other incidents caused by the negligence of guests.

[Article 9 Disclaimer]
The facility will not be held responsible if accommodation becomes impossible due to natural disasters, transportation accidents, power outages or water shortages, infectious diseases, or other force majeure events.
This facility will not provide any compensation for any problems with guests' communication devices or internet connection.

[Article 10 Handling of Personal Information]
This facility will acquire and use personal information only to the extent necessary for accommodation reservations and operational management, and will manage it appropriately in accordance with the law.

[Article 11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction]
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. In the event of any dispute relating to this facility, the court having jurisdiction over the location of this facility shall be the exclusive court of first instance.
